DAGENHAM & REDBRIDGE striker Ben Strevens has been shortlisted for the League Two PFA fans player of the month award for March, writes MIKE SIMMONDS.
The 28-year-old forward has played four games in that time, but hasn't found the net, making his inclusion somewhat surprising.
Strevens will be looking to add to his 13 goals this campaign against Brentford at Victoria Road tonight though, with the game being screened live on Sky TV.
The other contenders for the prize are Andy Bishop (Bury), Simeon Jackson (Gillingham), Adam Le Fondre (Rochdale) and Jordan Rhodes (Brentford).
Four fans who have voted for the divisional winners will get the chance to present the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month Award to the player on the pitch at a home game and one of the yearly fan winners will be selected at random to win the overall prize of attending the prestigious PFA Player of the Year Awards Dinner.
