DAGENHAM & REDBRIDGE bounced back to winning ways against Bury on Saturday, with a fine 3-1 victory. Here is how we rated the players

GK: Tony Roberts - 7 - must have felt let down with his defenders for the goal as he had made a terrific save moments beforehand. Although Nardiello hit the bar in the second half, the Welshman didn't have a great deal to do.

RB: Nana Ofori-Twumasi - 7 - showed once again that he loves to bomb forward, taking the third goal as well as any striker would. Still tends to get sucked into the middle of defence though, leaving his wide man in space on the flank.

LB: Jamie Day - 7 - growing in assurance with every game and made some telling interceptions and blocks, while stretching his legs to cross the halfway line on occasion too.

CB: Mark Arber - 8 - is in the form of his life at the moment as he never seems to put a foot wrong and is always in the right place at the right time. Daggers Mr Reliable.

CB: Scott Doe - 8 - STAR MAN - big performance from Doe as he won his headers and looked solid from the word go. Thought he had scored his first goal for the club too, but giving Still a selection headache as to who is Arber's regular defensive partner now.

RW: Danny Green - 7 - worked hard on the right wing and showed he has the ability to help out his defence as well as burst forward to whip a cross into the box too.

CM: - Adam Miller - 6 - put in plenty of effort in the midfield and grew in stature as the game wore on. Needs to be careful in possession though as he did lose the ball a few times in dangerous areas.

CM: Peter Gain - 7 - turned provider for the second goal with a good run and cross from the left, and was his usual busy self, always at the centre of things.

LW: Darren Currie - 6 - didn't really get into the game on Saturday as it seemed to pass him by, still getting his match sharpness back after a season of inactivity at Chesterfield.

CF: Jon Nurse - 7 - put in a fine shift against the lifes of Sodje and Futcher as he was manhandled from the start but still came back for more. Set up the opener too after some good work on the right.

CF: Paul Benson - 8 - at last the goals were back for Benson and he showed just why is the number one striker as he was in the right place for both efforts. Don't be surprised if he goes on little scoring run now.

SUBS

Josh Scott (Currie 61) - 8 - rarely can a substitute have made so much of an impact, as from the second he came on, he was in Sodje's face and helped Daggers take all three points.

SUBS NOT USED: Chris Lewington, Abu Ogogo, Graeme Montgomery, Danny Spiller, Wes Thomas, Tommy Tejan-Sie.
