DAGENHAM & REDBRIDGE got back to winning ways with a 1-0 success over Bournemouth on Saturday. Here is how we rated the players.

GK: Tony Roberts - 7 - enjoyed plenty of banter with the hefty Bournemouth contingent, but there wasn't much in the way of shots to deal with for Roberts. Made one brave stop in the second half and marshalled his back four well.

RB: Abu Ogogo - 7 - getting better with a run of games, but still has an element of rashness as he picked up an early booking. Kept his cool though and stayed out of trouble in the second half.

LB: Damien McCrory - 7 - another impressive display from McCrory who seems like he has been part of the Daggers backline for years. Never afraid to put a challenge in and get forward too, something the home faithful respond too.

CB: Mark Arber - 8 - confidently dispatched the penalty and won his headers with his regular authority. Thriving in his role as the head of such a young defence.

CB: Scott Doe - 8 - improving almost every week as his positional sense is second to none and kept the usually prolific Brett Pitman to just the odd sight of goal.

RW: Danny Green - 7 - worked extra hard in the first half, as all the danger came down his flank thanks to his willingness to run at his markers. Tired as the game wore on but still played his part in the success.

CM: - Peter Gain - 8 - STAR MAN - back in the centre now and hopefully is there to stay as he is such an influence on the game. Should have got on the scoresheet too, but used all his experience to win the penalty which was ultimately crucial.

CM: Marlon Pack - 7 - better, much better from Pack, as he tucked into his tackles with gusto. Still not much is seen from him as an attacking force, but provided the safety buffer in front of the defence.

LW: Graeme Montgomery - 7 - came more and more into the game as it progressed and showed just how handy it is to have a natural left winger on the flank. Lets hope he continues to progress.

CF: Josh Scott - 6 - harassed and roughed up the defence again, but needs to work on his finishing somewhat as missed two presentable chances late on.

CF: Paul Benson - 6 - not having the best of times in front of goal this season, although it was only the bar that stopped him scoring at the weekend.
