DAGENHAM & REDBRIDGE earned a point at Grimsby Town on Saturday thanks to Jon Nurse's second half goal. Here is how we rated the players

GK: Tony Roberts - 6 - no chance with the goal but made a good save in the first half and was comfortable after the break.

RB: Nana Ofori-Twumasi - 6 - much improved on Tuesday night's performance, though he didn't have a winger like Antony Straker running at him. Helped set up the goal and it was a much more comfortable afternoon for the youngster.

LB: Jamie Day - 6 - another who banished the Aldershot nightmare with a more assured performance at left back. Linked up well with Currie at times and tried to push forward on occasions.

CB: Mark Arber - 8 - STAR MAN - for the second game running, he was Daggers top performer, turning in an immense display. Read the game to perfection and was always on hand to clear the danger.

CB: Will Antwi - 7 - looked to have put the midweek game behind him and helped limit Grimsby to the odd chance before having to go off late on after picking up an injury.

RW: Danny Green - 6 - final ball was generally poor, while he committed himself too easily for the Mariners goal. Having said that, he did earn another assist for the goal, which showed just how good his crossing can be.

CM: - Adam Miller 7 - combative display from the on-loan Gillingham man, while there were some touches of quality too, as he drove forward. Might have opened his account for Daggers, but blasted over in the first half.

CM: Peter Gain - 7 - another who showed he was over the Shots game as he continually found the ball over the top to his strikers while also never letting the home midfield have a moments rest.

LW: Darren Currie - 6 - always looks good on the ball, but as with Green, his crossing wasn't at its best, as too often the defenders had an easy clearance.

CF: Jon Nurse - 6 - got himself into good positions on a number of occasions but as was symptomatic of the whole match, his end product was poor. Showed his willingness for the team though when he was in the right place to score with a fine header.

CF: Paul Benson - 6 - something is definitely not quite right with Benson at the moment, as he missed the kind of chance he would normally have gobbled up, hitting the bar from close range. Only scored once in his last 12 league games now.

Scott Doe (Antwi 82) - 6 - came on late on with Grimsby pressing for a winner, but showed a cool head when needed.
