DAGENHAM & REDBRIDGE easily saw off Grimsby Town 2-0 at the weekend Saturday. Here is how we rated the players.

GK: Tony Roberts - 6 - one of the quietest afternoons he will have this season as Grimsby failed to muster anything worthwhile at his goal.

RB: Abu Ogogo - 7 - another solid outing from Abu who is relishing his opportunity to cement the position of Daggers first choice right back.

LB: Damien McCrory - 8 - admitted afterwards that he was desperate to do well against the club he was on loan at earlier in the season and did just that. Showed it was the right choice to move to Victoria Road too as Daggers are in the play-off hunt while the Mariners look destined for relegation.

CB: Mark Arber - 7 - lost his man once in the first half as Peacock eventually headed over, but that was the only blemish as he saw out his 100th appearance for the club with relative ease.

CB: Scott Doe - 8 - not even a Steve Foster-style bandage could prevent Doe from imposing himself on the game again and he is becoming one of the finds of the season for manager John Staill.

RW: Danny Green - 7 - saw more of the ball than he has ever done and got on the scoresheet with a clever shot late on. Corners were hit and miss though, despite the amount of practice he got at them, while his final ball was too often easily cleared by Town defenders.

CM: - Peter Gain - 7 - didn't have his usual influence on the game as the ball often bypassed the central midfield duo. Came close to scoring, but curled his shot just wide of the post.

CM: Marlon Pack - 8 - STAR MAN - without doubt his best game for the club as he went about his business with the minimum of fuss. Took up some more attacking positions while always kept the ball moving with some intelligent passing.

LW: Graeme Montgomery - 7 - looked surprised to be taken off and rightly so as he was causing Grimsby problems with his delivery from the left flank. Excellent cross for Scott's opener and always looks a danger with the ball at his feet.

CF: Josh Scott - 7 - flying header for the first goal and is now in a rich vein of scoring form with three in his last three and 10 for the season.

CF: Paul Benson - 6 - quiet game for Benson, but his hold up play and linking with the flanks was always spot on.
