Grays Athletic 2 Dagenham & Redbridge 1
A YOUTHFUL Dagenham & Redbridge side fell to a late defeat against Blue Square Premier side Grays Athletic on Wednesday night.
Daggers fielded a side containing just Daniel Charge and Tommy Tejan-Sie who had played first team football, but took the lead through midfielder Harlee Dean.
Charge thought he had made it 2-0, only to see his effort ruled out for offside, before Grays, who had picked a full-strength side, including former Dagger winger Richard Graham, came back into the game after the break.
Jamie Slabber hit the post, but the striker levelled the match on 86 minutes, before Serge Makofo scored the winner moments later.
