A devoted son has organised a charity night to mark the second anniversary of his dad’s death.

Stevie Clifford-Tucker, 21, is raising money for St Clare’s Hospice in Harlow which cared for Lee Tucker during his final days.

He passed away one year, one month, one week and one day after he was diagnosed with lung cancer.

Saturday’s event at the Club Lounge in Broad Street, Dagenham, will include a DJ and auction and Stevie and his mum will also be shaving their heads for the hospice.

Stevie, of Wallers Close, Dagenham, decided to organise the party after holding a similar event last year which was attended by more than 200 people and raised £3,608. “It was such a good party and people had such a good time that I was encouraged to do it again,” Stevie said. “It’s a great way to celebrate dad’s life as well.”

Tickets cost £5 in advance or £7.50 on the door. To book, call 07581 234013 or email
