A driver has been taken to hospital following a car crash in Dagenham this morning.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said he believed only one vehicle was involved in the incident, which took place at the junction of Limbourne Avenue and Warley Avenue at around 8.45am.

A London Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “We sent an ambulance crew, an incident response officer, a single responder in a car and our hazardous area response team to the scene.

“We treated a woman at the scene for back pain and took her as a priority to a hospital in north east London.”
