Pupils and staff are celebrating after receiving an award which recognises their commitment to science.
Rush Green Primary School has bagged a Primary Science Quality Mark (PSQM) following hard work to improve and maintain high standards in the subject.
In the past year the Dagenham Road school has played host to a science week, a science fair – which showcased the children’s work to parents, governors and staff – interactive lessons and many school trips.
Caroline Ashby, who works at the school, said everyone was very proud of the results of their hard work.
“Our children’s enthusiasm for science has grown as well as the progress they have made and continue to make,” she added.
