A-level results: Barking Abbey School

Barking Abbey School have achieved a 98 per cent pass rate where students have achieved A*-E grades in their A-levels.

They also scored high with grades A*-B with 72 per cent of students achieving the top grades.

Student Daniel Cummins, 19, from Chelmsford, was one of the top-scoring students, with three A*s.

He said: “I saw them online this morning. I rang my mum straight away. They were better than I expected because I was not too sure about my chemistry grade.”
