The headteacher of Jo Richardson School has hailed this year the best yet for A-level results.
Although the figures are yet to be collated, it is thought the overall pass rate for students is in the high 90s.
Ges Smith said: “This is the best possible news. I would like to congratulate all of our students on their achievements and their success.
“They worked extremely hard.
“In these difficult economic times, their success means a better future with improved opportunities at university and in the job market.”
