Barking and Dagenham College students have designed postcards for charity in the second of their annual charity Post-Picasso: Art Benefit events.

The fundraising event was inspired by the Royal College of Arts world-famous ‘RCA Secret’ exhibition, which involves post cards being designed by famous artists being sold for charity, where the buyer does not know who designed the card until they have bought it.

The exhibition has been organised by the college’s photography students.

David Bennett, who is in charge of the college’s photography program, said: “The photography students have done a tremendous job in putting this event together as part of the coursework and I am very proud of what they have achieved in a short period of time.”

The postcards will be on display in the college from March 21 to April 13, with an opening reception on the evening of March 20 that is open to everyone.
