One talented photography student from Barking and Dagenham College will get the chance to spend two months in Paris’ most prestigious studios every year.
Le Rouchon is used for photo and video professionals in the fashion and advertising industry and is famous worldwide.
The college has taken photography students over to visit the studio for many years, but this scholarship is the result of a new partnership between the two, and every year one BA (Hons) student will complete a two-month internship in Paris.
David Bennett, the college’s photography course leader, said: “To be affiliated with such a high calibre studio is fantastic and really puts the college on the map as one of the best places to study photography in Europe.
“It will allow us to further align our educational programmes with what the industry requires, something which is important as part of our philosophy of helping students into the world of work.”
