Families came together to for an afternoon of fun to celebrate the ten year birthday of a children’s centre.
Sue Bramley Children’s Centre in Barking hosted a range of activities on Friday as part of the milestone, including a bouncy castle and face painting.
The day also featured performances from a big band.
The centre, in Bastable Avenue, is named after the late Sue Bramley, a former councillor, magistrate and for more than 11 years a school teacher at Ripple Infants. It is one of 10 children’s centres in the borough that has received outstanding results from Ofsted and caters for children from birth up to 19 years.
