Clever children showcased their knowledge during a Gifted and Talented contest.
Youngsters aged eight to 12 years old were invited to take part in the competition which involved heats across three weeks.
These included intense maths and spelling tests and memorising 52 playing cards in a row.
Anisha Shibley, 11, from Richard Alibon Primary School, was the winner at the final which was held at Dagenham Library on Tuesday.
The runners-up were Ranya Mahmood, nine, from Thomas Arnold Primary, Teddy Njuguna, 12, from All Saints Catholic School and Daniel Cooper, eight, from Valence Primary School.
