Nursery children proudly show off their prizes after coming first in a road safety collage competition.

Children from the Richard Alibon School in Dagenham, received a lollipop man outfit, complete with zebra crossing, baseball caps, books and umbrellas.

The winning collage featured a school crossing patrol, fire engine and even a speed camera.

A total of nine nurseries took part in this year’s competition, to teach children about the importance of road safety. Second place went to Barney Bears Nursery and third place to St Joseph’s Primary, both in Dagenham.
