Young people had fun behind and in front of the camera as they took part in a film and drama workshop.

The weekly course for five to 15-year-olds is held at the Rivergate Centre at Barking Riverside and led by award-winning director Wayne G Saunders.

It offers youngsters a chance to learn how to make their own films and develop their acting skills.

Wayne, who comes from Barking, studied TV, video and film production and has produced a number of films and documentaries, working with the BBC, ITN and a number of other production companies.

There are still places available on the course, which costs £5 a session. For more information call 0208 265 4368 or 07908 855 873.
