Olympic fans in the borough took part in their own torch relay shortly before the country prepared to welcome in the Games.
Parents and their youngsters followed a route along children’s centres in Dagenham before a picnic and activities at Old Dagenham Park in Ballards Road on July 25.
Their torch relay started at Leys Children’s Centre in Wellington Drive, stopped at the Marsh Green centre in New Road, before heading to Ford Road Children’s Centre.
