Children’s author Alan Durant delighted children with his award-winning tales and shared the secrets of his success.
Durant, who writes for all ages from toddlers to teens, brought some of his stories to life and then answered questions that were put to him.
The pupils at Manor Infant School in Sandringham Road, Barking, dressed in pyjamas and brought their teddies into school for the day.
Office assistant Nicki Gaymer said: “Alan Durant was thrilled with the response by everyone and enjoyed his day.”
