Disadvantaged young people put on a charity fashion show to help teenagers fighting cancer.
Around 60 youths aged 16 to 19 put their talents to the test at the Dagenham show, which raised £500 for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The catwalk show went ahead at the Millhouse social club in New Road, Dagenham, on Monday evening.
The showcase was the culmination of summer workshops which equipped Neets - young people not in education, employment or training - with skills that will help them to take on the fashion world.
The teenagers learnt about hairdressing and fashion at the Quest salon in Green Lane, Dagenham, for up to three days a week.
Others found out about information technology and motoring.
Quest placement officer Sarah Wheeler, 29, said: “The show went really well. It was well attended and the young people really enjoyed it. It was a good night.”
