Picture Gallery: Faith groups celebrate diversity in Barking and Dagenham
Faith groups celebrated cultural diversity with a fun-packed show at Ripple community centre in Barking.
Bollywood dancer Shilpa Kini joined parents and children at the Ripple Road centre to mark Interfaith Faith on Thursday.
Exhibitors also told visitors about projects provided by faith groups including foodbanks, children’s clubs, mentoring and pregnancy support.
Meanwhile, Salvation Army Maj Nigel Schultz and Mayor Tony Ramsay visited Henry Green Primary in Green Lane, Dagenham, as the children put on performances to mark the awareness week on November 20.
