Pupils learnt all about habitats as part of a nature expedition to Rainham Marshes.
The children from Thames View Infants, in Bastable Avenue, Barking, headed to the marshes yesterday to learn about different environments and how wildlife adapts to different habitats.
They enjoyed a guided nature walk, a scavanger hunt and got the chance to try out pond dipping.
The trip was linked to the pupils science lessons on habitats.
