Students explored the story of an American civil rights activist and learnt more about equality and diversity as part of a college’s Black History Month activities.
Motivational speaker John Akinde gave a talk to the students at Barking and Dagenham College on how prejudice and discrimination impacts on individuals and ways that racial equality and inclusion can be built.
He also hosted a second session called ‘I have a dream’ which brought the story of Martin Luther King to life.
