Work starts on two Dagenham schools

GROUNDBREAKING ceremonies were held at the only two Barking and Dagenham schools set to benefit from the scrapped BSF programme.

The ceremonies, on Monday, marked the start of the multi-million pound building work at Dagenham Park, in School Road, Dagenham, and Sydney Russell School, in Parsloes Avenue, Dagenham.

Both schools will be refurbished and extended over the next two years and will boast a range of high quality facilities.
