Spring has well and truly sprung in the gardens of Dagenham’s historic Valence House.

The trees and bushes were in full bloom when this picture was taken last week.

Valence House Museum, in Becontree Avenue, opens its grounds to the public all year round and offers green-fingered volunteers the chance to do their bit in the beautiful garden, which includes a herb and vegetable plot. If you are interested in helping out call 020 8227 2034.
