Cottages at Creekmouth before they were knocked down


An up-coming event will celebrate the history and heritage of Creekmouth and the Thames View estate in Barking.

The council is urging residents with connections to the areas to share their memories and photographs at the event next Wednesday (May 22.)

It will be held at the Thames View Community Hall, in Bastable Avenue, Barking from 2pm to 6.30pm.

The afternoon will feature themes, including the history of Creekmouth, life on the Thames View Estate, important people in the community and life on the River Roding and Thames.
