The Barking and Dagenham LGBT social club said their goodbyes to the man that started running their weekly events.
Edward Hayes set up the social club to provide a place for the borough’s LGBT community to meet in safety at Scrattons Social Club and Community Hall, in Dagenham.
Stephen Dyer will take over the club as Edward is moving to Suffolk in the coming weeks.
