A MASSIVE smash left one man fighting for his life in hospital after major surgery and three others seriously injured. The crash, which involved two cars, happened just outside the council offices in Rainham Road North on Wednesday March 25. Firefighters

A MASSIVE smash left one man fighting for his life in hospital after major surgery and three others seriously injured.

The crash, which involved two cars, happened just outside the council offices in Rainham Road North on Wednesday March 25.

Firefighters had to cut the critically injured man from the wreckage - completely removing the roof of the car.

He was taken by air ambulance to Queen's hospital in Romford, where he required emergency surgery.
