Dogs of all shapes and sizes, and their owners, enjoyed the return of a popular pet event.

At Paws in the Park, residents and their four-legged friends took part in a host of canine-related fun on Saturday. There were games, agility courses, dog shows and free vet advice in Mayesbrook Park, Dagenham.

Darren Henaghan, director of housing and environment, said: “These events are a chance for us to celebrate our canine friends and to encourage responsible dog ownership.”

The next Paws in the Park events are due to be held at Barking Park on May 29, Mayesbrook Park on July 6, and Barking Park on September 7.
