Pupils in Barking transformed themselves into kings and queens to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee.

The youngsters donned royal outfits for the party at Northbury Infant School in North Street yesterday (Thursday).

As well as enjoying a traditional tea party, the children also had fun dancing in the playground and posing with a life size cardboard cut out of the Queen.

A few brave souls even took turns standing in the stocks as their classmates hurled foam pies at them.
