THE Great American Songbook gets an airing at the Kenneth More Theatre, Ilford, on Sunday, when popular vocalist, trumpet player and all round entertainer, Tony Jacobs performs There's No Business Like Show Business.
Using much loved songs and fine music of the great songwriters and performers, Tony traces the development of American songs from Tin Pan Alley to Broadway - and it's all laced with anecdotes and humour.
Tony will be joined by the Jim Barry Quintet with Sue Greenway on sax and clarinet, and young talented vocalist Catherine Sykes. Curtain up at 7.30pm.
