Valence House is opening its doors for a free family fun day next Thursday.
More than 1,000 people are expected to join in with the fun on May 28, which has been arranged as part of the council’s 50th anniversary celebrations.
Activities will include face-painting, bouncy castles, zorbing and a penalty shoot out and a community choir will perform.
There will also be a Grand Draw at 5pm.
The event has been organised by Lifelife, which equips people for life and work, delivering services that recognise the importance of the person, family and community, and more than 70 of its volunteers will be helping on the day.
The event will take place from 2pm until 5pm and all the activities are free of charge.
