HUNDREDS of Hammers fans made their way down to Romford on Sunday to meet some of the West Ham legends of the game.

The occasion was the annual Hammers Retro and Memorabilia Fair, which was held at the Romford United Services Social Club.

The day also coincided with the launch of a new book about one particular West Ham legend.

The Jack Burkett Story by Terry Roper was on sale for the first time at Sunday's show and the great man himself was on hand to sign copies and answer questions on all things West Ham.

Also in attendance were Mark Ward, whose book, From Right Wing to B Wing - Premier League to Prison, was published earlier in the year, following his release from prison after four years.

Eddie Bovington and the legend that is Tony Cottee were also at the show, and there was a special question and answer session with all the West Ham stars to entertain the audience.
