The Hammers are set to be without James Tomkins, Freddie Sears, Junior Stanislas and Savio during September and October.

The foursome are all likely to be playing in the under-20 World Cup which is being held in Egypt.

England are in the same group as Ghana, Uruguay and Uzbekistan, while Savio is likely to be in the Germany squad who take on the United States, Cameroon and South Korea.

The tournament beg-ins on September 24 with the final not scheduled for October 16, meaning all four could miss a sizeable chunk of the new campaign.
