A 42-year-old office administrator has become so fed up with a life of takeaways, she is starring in a documentary in a bid to change her ways.

Hazel Price, of Longbridge Road, Barking, is one of the stars of Prove It, a 'fly on the wall' documentary being filmed over 12 months by the charity, Health Concern.

The organisation, with headquarters at Barking's Vicarage Field, is focusing on four volunteers from the borough who all want to ditch their unhealthy lifestyles.

Hazel said: "I live on my own, so when I come back from work I will often end up just eating takeaways. I need to get out of that habit.

"I'm in my mid-40s and have a family history of heart disease so am concerned that if I don't do something soon it might be too late."

Each of the volunteers meet with the film crew every six weeks, being filmed doing activities such as cooking at home, shopping, eating with friends, and chatting about the progress they have made. They are keeping their own video diary.

Health Concern is now looking for a fifth person to take part in the Prove It documentary.
