I knew Gary from being his dinner lady all through his junior school in Parsloes Primary.
He was a lovely boy who I liked very much. I feel that he should have been given the chance of having medical treatment, as there was a good chance of him getting well again.
It might have been a wake up call for him to give up the alcohol.
He didn't deserve for his doctors to give up on him and to allow him to die at the young age of 22.
I was saddened by this and my thoughts are with his family for their loss.
