AN OFSTED report has praised the pleasant atmosphere and community role of Manor Junior School, Sandringham Road, Barking.
According to the report, pupils made a "satisfactory progress" during lessons, and reached above national average standards by year six, while giving it an overall "satisfactory" rating.
The report, which was produced after a visit to the school in May, also found that pupils' personal development and well-being were "good", the atmosphere was pleasant and that pupils were happy to approach teachers with problems.
The school has been awarded for its use of technology and achieved Healthy School status in the past.
