Run, jump and have fun this February half term with a range of free sports sessions for kids.
Young people in Barking and Dagenham aged between five years old and 17 can enjoy a range of activities such as street dance, dodgeball and cookery classes.
Other sessions include an athletics camp at the Jim Peters Stadium in Dagenham and basketball camp in Barking Abbey School.
“It’s important that youngsters exercise to stay fit and healthy, and what better way to do that than by taking part in one of our programmes during the school holidays this February,” said Cllr Maureen Worby, cabinet member for social care and health.
The events, which run from February 12 to 16 as part of the council’s School’s Out, Get Active programme. are open to youngsters who live or go to school in the borough.
