The air ambulance landed in Dagenham’s Ager Avenue on Monday afternoon, drawing a crowd of onlookers.
A London’s Air Ambulance spokeswoman said: “Our advanced trauma team was dispatched via aircraft by the London Ambulance Service at 4.27pm on March 13 to an incident in the Dagenham area.”
She added that the patient was treated at the scene before being taken to a major trauma hospital by road in an ambulance.
The patient’s age, gender and condition have not yet been released.
