They are the prettiest towns in Essex.

I'm eventually going to visit Dagenham and Barking for a short holiday, so can someone please tell me more about them and their history?

I'm an enormous fan of Dagenham born songstress bare footed Sandie Shaw, Adam Faith another Londoner and cockney singer Mike Sarne who'd a huge hit with 'Come Outside/Fountain of Love' which featured the late cockney actress Wendy Richard.

I would like to get hold of a copy of Sandie Shaws 'I never Promised You A Rose Garden/Maybe I'm amazed'.

It was our Sandie who originally recorded Rose Garden on a Pye 45 in 1970 and she deserves credit for it, even though she never had a chart hit with it.

It did sell fairly well, but country singer Lynne Anderson recorded it in 1971 and that year it was a million selling chart topper.

I would also like a copy of her version if anyone has it.

Being such a fan I would like to get Sandie Shaws, Adam Faiths and Mike Sarne 45-singles, EPs, LPs pre-recorded CDs/videos, original authentic memorabilia.

I also urgently need pen pals of any age who are fans of Sandie, Mike and Adam.
