Heroes save stab victim

A VIOLENT gang repeatedly stabbed a man while he lay helpless on the floor in an attack which has left residents sickened.

The thugs punched, kicked and stabbed the victim while he shouted for help in Cooke Street, Barking at around 10pm on Thursday, May 15.

The victim, aged 27, was saved by brave residents who came to break up the attack, he is now in a stable condition in hospital.

Witnesses have described the horrifying assault which left puddles of blood on the quiet residential street.
