VICIOUS THUGS smashed a bottle across a man's face when they discovered he had no money.
The victim, 33, was attacked in Wilmington Gardens, Barking. at 11.30pm on Monday last week.
He was approached by three youths who tried to rob him.
They were all thought to be around 15-years-old, one was Asian and the other two were white.
The victim was taken to Queen's Hospital, Romford, after the attack with an injury to his nose.
