A company that provides home care for elders, disabled people and adults with learning difficulties are to create a further 100 jobs in the borough.

Bluebird Care will boost the number of staff it employs in Barking and Dagenham over the next 12 months.

Anneka Baiden, managing director, said: “Employing committed and passionate care assistants has been a huge part of our success in recent years.

“We will only ever be as good as the staff we employ and our staff are excellent. They are always professional and have real empathy for the people they look after.”

She added: “This year we’ll continue to take our recruitment opportunities out into the community. As well as promoting our services at local events, people can also find out about working for us.”

The company offers tailored care visits ranging from 30 minutes to live-in support and works alongside their customers’ families, social services and the NHS.
