A WOMAN needed hospital treatment after a fire raged through a house.
The fire brigade was called to a fire on Ivyhouse Road, at 3.47pm on April 23 (Thursday).
Twenty fire fighters in four engines from both Dagenham and Barking fire stations helped to tackle the flames in a two-storey house.
Heavy smoke was said to have been in the whole building, part of which was damaged by the fire.
A man a woman, who had already left the house before the fire brigade arrived, were suffering from smoke inhalation.
