A cash machine has been destroyed in an early-morning raid.
Police were called to Ripple Road, Barking, at 3.51am today to reports of a burglary.
Upon arrival at the address, officers found a cash machine split apart.
Firefighters, who were also called to the scene, extinguished a fire at the nearby Day Lewis Pharmacy.
No arrests have been made, but police continue to investigate.
