A 49-year-old man has been spared jail after carrying two cut-throat razors, a knuckle duster and a metal-headed walking stick in public.
Dagenham resident Leonard Lowe was handed a 12-week sentence, suspended for 12 months, at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
Lowe, of Ibscott Close, had pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing weapons and two for possessing knife blades or sharp pointed articles in Parsloes Avenue, Dagenham, on April 28.
He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £115 and court costs of £250. He will also have to carry out a rehabilitation activity requirement.
