Firefighters were forced to a cut a woman with neck and back injuries from her car after a crash.

Two cars crashed in Dagenham Heathway at the junction with Parsloes Avenue, leaving a male driver with head injuries and female driver with neck and back injuries.

Two fire engines attended the crash, which happened at about 8.30pm on Monday, as firefighters cut the woman from her car before both drivers were taken to an east London hospital.

Police were also called to the scene but no arrests were made and both drivers’ injuries were minor.
