GAINSBOROUGH Primary School emerged as winners for the third year in succession at the Newham Primary Schools Sportshall Athletics Championship recently. The Gainsborough team gave a consistently high-level performance, especially in the running events.
GAINSBOROUGH Primary School emerged as winners for the third year in succession at the Newham Primary Schools Sportshall Athletics Championship recently.
The Gainsborough team gave a consistently high-level performance, especially in the running events.
Ashley Kossa, year five, produced the performance of the day leaping two metres 18 centimetres in the standing long jump.
After last year's win, Gainsborough represented Newham at he London Youth Games and finished second.
They hope to go one better this year.
