THIS week sees the return of the annual Residents' Unity Week, an event designed to give people a better idea of what local services are available to them.
Run by Barking and Dagenham Tenants' and Residents' Federation, it opened with a conference at the CEME centre in Rainham on Monday.
Other events feature an Open Day with entertainment at Vicarage Field shopping centre, Barking, on Thursday, followed that night by the Leaseholders' conference at Dagenham and Redbridge FC.
And on Friday from 6-11pm the grand finale will be held at Barking Abbey School in Sandringham Road, Barking.
