Youngsters impressed the crowds with their talents at a Jubilee street party on the Rylands Estate in Dagenham.

Juggler Ashley Harris, 14, was one of the many young acts at today’s celebration in Centre Road. Watch him in action on our YouTube video.

Also performing at the event was seven-year-old Zoe Guilford, who sang the national anthem.

Zoe’s mum, Joanne Hurt, said: “She’s been practising at school and said she wanted to sing for everyone. She did really well and didn’t seem nervous at all. I’m proud of her.”

One of the party organisers, Cllr Inder Singh Jamu, said: “It’s been a wonderful day. There has been dancing, Punjabi folk music, juggling and singing. And the mayor and his wife came by which was lovely.

“It’s great to see everyone coming together like this.”
